How do I access The O.P.E.N.?
To enjoy The O.P.E.N. and its spread of 43 programmes, all you need is an O.P.E.N. Pass ($45, excl. SISTIC charges) or an O.P.E.N. Concession Pass ($25, excl. SISTIC charges). These are available at SISTIC from 20 April 2017.
Single entry tickets to some of the programmes are also available at $10 (excl. SISTIC charges). But these can only be purchased on the day itself at the door.

Why do I need to register for The O.P.E.N. programmes?
Access to The O.P.E.N. is by a one-pass entry system, with free seating arrangements. Some programmes may have limited seating due to the structure of the programme or venue capacity. It is highly recommended that The O.P.E.N. pass holder registers for the programme of their choice. Registering ensures a seat is reserved for you. By registering, you are also helping us manage crowd flow. Registration also helps us reach out to you either via phone or email should there be urgent changes to the schedule. The aim is always to stay connected and offer you the best experience at The O.P.E.N.
Can I be on a waitlist for this single entry ticket?
We don’t have a waitlist for single entry ticket. It is on a first-come-first-served basis, at the door, on the day itself. Single entry tickets are made available at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the programme.
Why is the single entry ticket only available at the door?
The O.P.E.N. encourages the purchase of the O.P.E.N. Pass, to invite openness and willingness to attend a wide variety of programmes. Consider the O.P.E.N. Pass and the O.P.E.N. Concession Pass like a browsing pass. One pass enables you to browse, sample and savour the different programmes we have. You may choose one that you are familiar with and attracted to but at the same time, the pass gives you a chance to wear a why-not attitude: why not attend other programmes, one that you might not attend if not for the O.P.E.N. Pass. Ultimately we hope that through this one-pass system, you'll enjoy a wide range of programmes and in the process gain a deeper engagement and understanding of the Festival’s theme and ideas.
Don’t you have a waitlist at all?
A waitlist is created only when a programme is fully subscribed/registered. At times, we receive cancellations from registrants who may not be able to make the date. We immediately contact those on the waitlist to inform them when space is available.
Is seating allocated?
All our programmes are free seating.
Patrons are encouraged to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. As a general practice, please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time. With respect to the performers and other audience members, latecomers will only be admitted into the venues at a suitable break. This varies from performance to performance. For some performances, latecomers may be admitted only after first interval.
If you leave a performance after it has commenced, you will only be re-admitted at a suitable break.
