Sunset Sessions

Sunset Sessions is an easy-listening podcast series brought to you by MAMA MAGNET in collaboration with SIFA. These podcasts invite listeners to reflect on the dialogues and conversations between international and local creatives like artist Jason Lai; Claire O’Neill from Greener Fest; Kenny Leck from BooksActually; poet ArunDitha and many more! From 7pm daily, tune in to this programme about art at the intersection of other fields like sustainability and compassion for healing the soul and the environment. Sunset Sessions will be available on the festival’s website and Spotify after broadcast.

Nightcap @ 9

It's the festival podcast no one asked for! Join best friends Kishan, a science educator, and Joel, a playwright, and performer, as they take their raucous podcast T42 to the Festival. Join them with a stiff drink to chat every Sunday at 9 pm about what they saw at SIFA that week, opinions and digressions guaranteed.

About the Hosts

MAMA MAGNET was founded to create greater public access to a diversity of art, ideas, and perspectives – whether cultural, social or digitally relevant. Through public programming and counter-culture archiving, the consultancy creates offline and online encounters for the community to navigate unconventional futures.

Kishan Singh calls himself a science educator because he believes that science is for everyone. His proudest moments include accosting people in clubs about the chemistry of tonic and getting young minds excited about science in the classroom. Kishan is one half of the podcast, T42.

Joel Tan is a playwright, performer, and now podcaster. His proudest moments include accosting people in clubs about Abercrombie & Fitch, and his viral impersonation of MP Gan Siow Huang. As a playwright, recent work includes commissions with the Royal Court, The Orange Tree Theatre, Headlong Theatre, Pangdemonium, and Wildrice.
